Canberra Burns Club

Formed in 1924, The Burns Club was initiated to foster the culture and heritage of Scotland, with the works of Famous Scottish poet Robert Burns read by members at ‘Burns Evenings’. The Canberra Burns Club each year holds functions to commemorate Burns Night, St Andrews and the traditional New Year’s Eve Hogmanay celebrations, while maintaining an outstanding library of works on Scottish history, Scottish culture, and Robert Burns.
